As the Principal of the company, Rob Bulfield is the initial and main contact point for all matters relating to the overall management of an event.

Rob was Marketing Manager of Tourism SA before launching Sapro in 1992.

Rob’s experiences include:

  • management of the inaugural visit to Adelaide of the QE2
  • 3 times winner of Pacific Asia Travel Association marketing achievement award
  • on-site management of administration office Formula 1 Grand Prix (8 years)
  • instigated and developed SA Shorts program and campaign
  • established Sapro Marketing in 1992 
  • foundation board member of SA Tourism Accreditation Board
  • member of Meetings Industry Association PD committee
  • manager of 100 successful conferences and events

Rob’s role is to oversee the management of the event and provide the organising committee with guidance on aspects. He attends most committee meetings.
